Member Acceptance
My idea for member acceptance is this-a member comes into the territory to join. So, as we only want the best wolves in the pack, we have them match wits, strength, speed, e.t.c with different members of the pack. If they pass most of the tests. (Say, 85% percent or so) they can join. If not, they have to wait until the next day (real time) to try again. Once they pass, they are given the rank of Pupil (of course)
Earning Your Rank
Once a member has been an active member of the pack for 1 week, real time, they can earn their rank. They may work towards it before this time, but they may not achieve it until they have been active for a 1 week.
Once a member has completed training (described below) they must pass one final test. The lead-or if there is not a lead, the most senior-of the rank they wish to obtain will compete against them in:
(A) A race
(B) A physical battle or
(C) A match of wits, depending on the rank.
If the lead/senior member deems the wolf adequate, they can earn their rank. If not, they must continue to train.
Training
A wolf must train to earn his/her rank. Depending on the rank they wish to earn, they must train in different areas. For instance, if a wolf wants to become a lookout, they must train in observation, speed, and agility. Physicians must train in herbs and knowledge. Chasers in speed, tracking, and stealth, e.t.c. Once they have trained each required skill to 25 points, and have a month and a half of activity, they can ask to be tried by the lead/senior member of the class, as described in the 'Earning Your Rank' section.
